AussieSpend's calculators are designed to need as little from you as possible. This page explains what that means in practice.

What we don't collect

There's no sign-up and no account. The amounts, currencies and card fee figures you type into the converter or fee calculator run entirely in your browser — they're not sent to, or stored on, AussieSpend's servers. If you close the tab, that information is gone.

Analytics

The site emits limited calculator and navigation events inside your browser for a future analytics integration. It does not currently transmit or store those events. Any future analytics service must respect applicable consent rules and will not receive purchase amounts or the fee figures you enter. Server infrastructure may record ordinary request logs needed to operate and protect the site.

Cookies

AussieSpend doesn't use cookies to track you across other sites. Any cookies in use are limited to what's needed for the site itself to function or for basic, aggregate analytics as described above.

Links to other sites

Pages on AussieSpend link out to other sites — our rates provider, guides, and occasionally other resources. Once you leave AussieSpend, that site's own privacy policy applies, not ours.

Children's privacy

AussieSpend isn't directed at children and we don't knowingly collect information from them.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
