Terms of use
Last updated 30 October 2026
These terms cover your use of AussieSpend. By using the site, you agree to them.
General information only
AussieSpend provides general information and calculators for Australians spending money overseas. Nothing on this site is financial, tax, or legal advice, and it shouldn't be treated as a recommendation to take any particular action. AussieSpend doesn't exchange money, process payments, or hold funds on behalf of users.
Estimates, not guarantees
The calculators use Cotizave reference data when available. Cross rates for non-USD currencies are derived through USD. These are estimates, not executable exchange offers or your bank's card rate. Your provider may apply a different rate, fees or rounding. Check the source time and your card's terms before making a payment decision.
No warranty
AussieSpend is provided "as is", without any warranty of accuracy, availability or fitness for a particular purpose. You use the site, and any figures it produces, at your own discretion and risk.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, AussieSpend and its operators aren't liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, this site or the estimates it produces, including any difference between an estimate and what you're actually charged.
Links to other sites
AussieSpend links to third-party sites, including our rate data provider Cotizave. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their content, accuracy or availability. If a link ever earns us a commission, it will be labelled next to that link.
Changes
We may update these terms or the site itself from time to time. Continuing to use AussieSpend after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Australia.
